Swedish Global Health Education Conference october 26-27 2016
Global health is a key area for education, research and practice both nationally and internationally. High-quality Global Health Education is crucial for Sweden’s competitiveness in a globalized world, and ability to contribute to the United Nations’ recently launched 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
Purpose of the conference
- To provide a platform for participants to connect and showcase initiatives and innovative ideas about Global Health Education from universities in Sweden and internationally.
- To move towards formulating strategies and developing tools for strengthening Global Health Education at all levels of training across universities in Sweden.
All interested and engaged in global health education.Representatives from medical faculties in Sweden, both leaders within education and faculty members with an interest in Global Health Education, as well as representatives from relevant professional organizations, student organizations, and selected international guests.
The conference will be held in Umeå, Sweden from lunch to lunch, on October 26-27 2016.
